Finding Clarity When You're Stuck.

Okay, I have a confession...

I knew that this would happen one day, and it did. Even if l have to pull an all-nighter to finish a project, my goal is always to put out my best work. With that said, the blog post I prepared for today just wasn't a reflection of that. So, instead of posting something subpar, I decided to try something new.

Complete the activity below, and have fun with it!

There was a blind man named Bart—no, not Simpson...his name is Bartimaeus, but I know I'm not the only one who can't pronounce his name, so we will call him Bart for short. Bart was begging by the road, and when he heard a crowd of people, he wanted to know what was going on. They told him Jesus was passing by, and he cried out to Him.

I don't know about you, but there were many times when I was stuck in darkness and didn't want to cry out to Jesus or wait on Him to answer. In the past, I kept trying to get unstuck by myself and wound up failing repeatedly because of my impatience.

Bart was different.

The people who were walking ahead of God tried to shush Bart. Did you catch that? They were walking ahead of God and not with him. Hm...sounds like what we do—jump ahead of God before we know His plan. Bart's faith was strong though, and he knew that Jesus could help him. So, despite people telling him to be quiet, he chose to seek God and ultimately received healing.

Bart's clarity (sight) came from his faith in God.

I don't know what things have you stuck, but I do know as you continue to seek God and acknowledge Him in everything you do, He will open your eyes so you can see like Bartimaeus.

Challenge: What's one thing you learned from this actiivity? Would you be interested in doing more like this? As always, I love to hear from you. Head on over to discussions, and I look forward to chatting with you.

You are somebody born to do great things :).
