Push and Pray.

Never stop praying.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:17

I didn’t know what else to do.

My very first fashion show during New York Fashion Week was in 3 days, and my collection was only 75% done. What made things worse was that my patternmaker was nowhere to be found.

I called him multiple times, but I got no answer. I sent numerous texts, but he didn’t respond. How could he do this to me?

So, I did what I thought I had to do ... call another patternmaker. In all honesty, I knew there was something about the patternmaker that I called that made me feel uneasy, but I was desperate.

I explained to him that I had 3 patterns that needed to be adjusted within 24 hours, and he told me he could get the job done. I don't know why, but I didn't believe him.

I wanted to trust him because I was desperate, but I couldn’t knock the uneasy feeling I had about him, so I let him go without giving him the work.

I was out of ideas, and I felt hopeless. So I did the only other thing I knew I could do—pray.

It was out of my hands.

The very next morning, my pattern-maker called me and apologized for disappearing. He explained to me that he had the flu and was recovering. Bummer! But he also told me that he would come to the factory anyway and finish the work because he knew how important it was to me.

I was speechless and started to cry. God came through for me and answered my prayer. And I was able to finish the collection in time.

All I had to do was surrender control and trust God.

Never stop praying.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:17

I heard a minister say the other day, “Keep praying until something happens.” That challenged me.

We often stop praying for something when we don’t see it manifesting, but the Word of God tells us to never stop praying.

When you need a breakthrough, don’t stop praying until you get it.

When you get your breakthrough, don’t stop praying.

When you need healing, don’t stop praying until you get it.

When you receive healing, don’t stop praying.

Never. Stop. Praying.

Push and pray until something happens. And when it does, make sure you pray and thank God for it.
