This is in response to your most recent blog "Big things often come in small packages". The lord really honors obedience in big and small tasks. No task is to small. One thing that stood out to me and directly related to something I read in my devotional is God will always provide you with what you need to fulfill a task he gives you...ALWAYS. So many times we avoid obeying God or delay obeying (for the record delayed obedience is disobedience), because we don't feel like we have all the necessaruy tools...or everythign isn't set up just right. We forget we serve the SOURCE. The one who can provide all the resources we could ever need. So you better sing Mags. He provided you the gift to do what he instucted. Also I love that you talked about David. I think one misconception about David is that he was a novice. While he wasnt a "warrior" per say. He was an expert at the slingshot. He was well trainined in that area through experience. The lord had prepared him in a very specific way. Would God have been given the same amount of glory if David had defeated Goliath in a predictable manner. I dont think so. The lord had him use what he knew. The gift that He had given him. NEver underestimate your gifts. ok I think Im dome. Love you Mags and I cant wait to dialogue with you more!

Britt,
Thanks so much for your response! I love everything you said. Yes, God is the SOURCE and will provide us with everything we need to accomplish His tasks. But singing though? I thought God was playing a trick on me haha.
My mans David was definitely not a novice. He fought vicisous lions for a living and definitely didn't need a sword to get the job done. I'm laughing over here because God always works in mysterious ways.
Thanks for your words of wisdom and your encouragement :).
